After 6 levels there is a timed garden level. Love it. This part I was able to complete early on, but so far, I have skipped these levels which is a plus! I found this to be a fun thinking game. I was surprised when the time ran out. Have different color items and matching colored flowers. You get one to three stars depending on how well you did. There are goals to meet such as number of resources collected and clearing areas. Yes, there are better games out there, but I really am enjoying this one. Have the child cut along the lines that were drawn onto the construction paper. Fold the cut-out strips of paper in one direction to form the petals of the flower. The game is very unique in it's gameplay. If you want, print out different expressions and have the children identify the feelings. Most of said learning curve can be approached in a hands on fashion if you just hate to read, lol, ie.

I don't like timed games Flower Fiesta not having the option and the main part of this game is NOT timed, but you are limited to a certain amount of moves to win the level. Decorate with the squeezable glue or paint. I have enjoyed playing it enough so I don't mind replaying levels I missed the first time. In conclusion, I'm not saying Flower Fiesta is one of the best games I've ever played, Aladin and the Wonderful Lamp: The 1001 Nights I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and I felt that some of the reviews may throw off some gamers from at least trying it and giving it a fair chance. Yes, I get irritated at "jiggly hints", but in this game, you have time to decide what the next move should be, and those hints are there only to let you know what is available, not what move you should make. Definitely a new format so Sparkle 2 that giving the 5 stars. This is the only Flowfr I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 at this time. Since I know that match 3 games start out easy and build to more complex levels, I was patient and took my time reading the instructions after each level which by the way, were very clear. I bought it Deadly Sin a credit, and consider it a good deal as a bonus game. Every 6 levels you get to plant Fliwer items you've collected in the game, how cute is that. You have a flower in hand and you must decide where to make a match 3 or 4 or 5 etc Flower Fiesta that you get the right flower to make your next move. There are goals to Flower Fiesta such as number of resources collected and clearing areas. My husband saw the flower fiesta drying on the table and he asked what game I was making.

Glue the flowers onto the stiff paper or cardboard. I got hooked on this game and ended up playing much longer than intended.

Flower Fiesta definitely has a learning curve IF you are used to [aka addicted to] match 3 games because it is just not the as-per-usual M3 game at all. It may be very difficult for some children to line up the ends correctly and apply the correct amount of pressure to staple the strips into circles.

  2. This is a very long game having plenty of levels, good buy for your bucks. It is not timed, you have so many moves to accomplish the goals. This is the only reason I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5 at this time.

  3. After I "master" the main levels, I will go back and figure out how you can fit everything in such a short amount of time! There is also a timed challenge after every 6 games where you have to build a garden in a limited time. You owe it to yourself [for the sake of good gaming experience] to give it a whirl It's not timed, but you have a limited number of moves, so you need to be careful about where you make your match. You are shown an item in a hand and you get to place it anywhere on the board as long as it makes a three combo.

The graphics, music and challenge all combine to create a wonderful gaming experience and if you are like me or as per the original [first] reviewer, you may sort of balk at this one because it just seems so different and strange-ish, but PLEASE DON'T!

Have different color items and matching colored flowers. Its challenging but not so hard that you can't ever get three stars. I was surprised when the time ran out.
