An idyllic town nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Primrose Lake is not as quaint as it seems. When Jenny Carlyle hitches a ride from a total stranger, she quickly realizes something is seriously wrong. No cell reception. No internet. Nothing to do but bide her time and try to stay out of trouble. It isn’t easy to do. Thank you! I can't wait for a sequel to continue the saga of Primrose residents' lives! The gameplay is very much like the early Emily games. Whereas in the Delicious series I find those bits pretty boring. An idyllic town nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Primrose Lake is not as quaint as it seems. Having read the reviews saying the story has a disappointing ending - or one that teases you into buying the next - well this is old school marketing which is just too transparent and I can't support it. Dash through the diner in a pie-making frenzy, and enjoy lots of lattes at the cafe. Fin Love this game. Talk about a breath of fresh A. Happy gaming! I love it when the details are good. What happens when Northern Exposure meets Twin Peaks?

I found the characters annoying, both the Bubble Zoo 2 characters to interact with and the cookie cutter customers. A great change from all the 'dark' mysteries which seem to be put out Glyph 2 day. In Primrose Lake, trouble has a way of catching up. Get to know Jenny and all the odd and troubling characters inhabiting Primrose Lake. The story line has you intrigued right Travel Riddles: Mahjong the start until the very end, in fact I think it's one of the best story lines I've played. The storyline is actually interesting, and if you're a fan of Twin Peaks the references won't be lost on you! I am definitely looking forward to the sequel to this game. Welcome To Primrose Lake - Episode 1

Whereas in the Delicious series I find those bits pretty boring. The story portions took forever to get through. I recommend this game to everyone. Honestly, if you're looking for a traditional time management game, this is it. Step 3 — Cooking and Pouring Other products take time to prepare before they can be served. The Delicious series has been losing some of their appeal lately, I believe because of rushing to get them out and poor writing, but this has all of the previous appeal and then some! Primrose is everything that I love including three sets of challenges, upgrade of the park versus house and full control choices. Mystery is interwoven through-out the gameplay with 20 vignettes bound to intrigue. Stay sharp, or you might miss the clues scattered through-out the game. Loved it. Happy gaming! Kudos to the development team for standing true to the charm and endearing qualities that warmed our hearts with the first games we loved from this story series. I did enjoy the jazzy tone of the DE series but it's hard to compete with perfection, lol. I stopped liking the newer versions that had all these extra actions and luckily this one doesn't have them!

I'm certain there is a sequel as it has left the story with a mystery that will need to be solved. Well done, developers and GH! The only slightly negative was the music remained at a bit of a loop but fortunately it was pleasant and low key. I enjoyed it, but was intrigued by the ending. Cares and Airline series ones at least the ones I've played. Is there going to be a sequel? I am looking forward to the continuation. Also love the different venues, wish it had been longer. The story was good but the ending leaves you hanging, I didn't appreciate that at all, it was too abrupt. I plan to play again and again.   4. This is just an excellent game!!! But smart on their part. My goal is to end up with three stars in the Hardest mode, and it gives me something to look forward to after a day at my stupid job.

  7. I am definitely looking forward to the sequel to this game. Played it for my birthday weekend Friday and finished in 3 days. Maybe they are the country cousins or old friends of Emily. No internet.

  8. But still very enjoyable and I love the familiar feel. It never got boring as the story had you moving all around Primrose with 2 identical girls being confused with one another, which had you wanting to keep playing to find out what happens next. I have played a couple of levels and I am hooked. I use Game Pass but buy the really awesome games like this one. It is a comparatively updated little gem; a saga with a whole new line of like-able and not characters that blended well into the theme of the plot and overall just flowed much like the original and wonderful Delicious Emily series always has AND it offers an intriguing twist of mystery!

  9. Keep locals stocked with supplies at the General Store, and please picky tourists at Adventure Island Rentals. This game lets you play a level without interruptions. However, I did enjoy the jazzy tone of the DE series but it's hard to compete with perfection, lol.
